Like any other businesses, StemLife was just a small company when it first started in 2001 and became the pioneer in the cord blood banking industry.
Although cord blood banking was still a new thing back then, StemLife has managed to beat the odds by thriving in this niche industry over the past years.
StemLife is Malaysia’s first fully licensed cord blood stem cell banking service provider and has achieved a number of recognitions through awards and certifications.

- Profit achieved (after only 3 years of operation)
- 1st UCBSC unit released for transplant - AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and the 1st in the country to use stem cells stored with a private bank

- Incorporation of ThaiStemLife
- Launch of StemLife Therapeutics Sdn. Bhd. for Peripheral Blood Stem Cells (PBSC) service in May.
- 5,000 total cumulative UCBSC units stored

- Listed on the MESDAQ board, change of status to StemLife Berhad
